Icarus Showpiece One of a Kind Sterling Silver Statement Necklace

This one of a kind showpiece is sterling silver, cast from my sculptures and accented with dangling citrine and czech glass beads.

Featuring the climax of the myth of Icarus, the wax has melted off of the wings Icarus is wearing, and Icarus tumbles to his fate below. The wax is represented by the gemstone and glass beads, and you can see a tiny Icarus reaching up to his beloved sun as he falls.

This necklace will never be recreated.

This showpiece is made up of almost half a pound of sterling silver, and is too heavy for everyday wear.
